Today Governor Perry announced the appointment of Jeffrey Boyd as Justice of the Texas Supreme Court effective Dec. 3, 2012. Boyd will serve the unexpired term of Justice Dale Wainwright who resigned at the end of September. Boyd currently serves as Perry’s Chief of Staff and previously served as the governor’s general counsel.
