Comptroller’s race in limbo until March 16, 2014

The Quorum Report says the Comptroller's race won't be decided until the Republican Party's vote canvass on Mar. 16, 2014.  "Both campaigns agreed on Thursday that the number of mail-in ballots from troops oversees will number in the thousands and many of them may not yet have arrived in their home counties," the article said.  Hegar needs about 75 votes to win the election outright.  The press also reports that Hilderbran is being pressured to drop out of the race by various factions.  Meanwhile QR also reports that Raul Torres, the CPA candidate in the race who ran last in the voting, has endorsed Hilderbran… if there is a run-off.
