Senator Glenn Hager, Republican candidate for State Comptroller

Now that the primary run-offs are over campaigning for the November general election can begin.  While the serious campainging probably won't start for a few months.  Today Sen. Hegar spent an hour or so being inerviewed by Evan Grant of the Texas Tribune.  It was a far ranging discussion covering many items significant to the Comptroller's responsibilities and even a few political issues.  You can watch a video of the presentation at TT's Livestream.

The Democratic nominee for State Comptroller, Mike Collier, CPA was interviewed by Grant over a month back as noted in a previous post.  If you want to compare the two candidates, you can still view the Collier inerview at this TT site.
