Road funding on the Nov. 4th ballott

Everyone, at least everyne who reads this bolg, knows that Texans will go to the polls on Nov. 4th to elect all our statewide officials and most of our state legislators; but much of the public is probably unaware that road funding is on the same ballot.

During the last session legislators voted to submit a constitutional amendment to the voters to forever use a portion of the Rainy Day Fund to retire road debt and build more roads.  The Fort Worth Star-Telegram has a good article and explanation of what's being proposed and the consequences if the amendment fails to pass.  Have a look.
